Christmas In July!!

The past week has been a very busy week!! Last Sat. we had our Duckett family Christmas party. We have the Christmas party in the summer now because some of our family lives in eastern Idaho and the roads are just to bad in the winter. It was a fantastic day with lots of food and lots of laughs, we always look forward to the Christmas party!!!
Levi and I (along with the help of my family) planted a garden this spring, and this week we are finally starting to reap the benefits of having a garden. We planted corn, peas, carrots, lettuce, pumpkins, cucumbers, watermelon, tomatoes, peppers and onions. So far we are eating the lettuce and the peas (fresh peas are the best)!!! I will post more pictures of the actual garden later.
The other exciting thing that happened this week was Levi got lasik eye surgery (say goodbye to glasses forever)!!! The surgery went well and he says he can already see better then he ever could with contacts. The doctor said that it will just keep getting better and he fully suspects that when Levi is fully recovered he should have 20/20 vision or better!!!!
