RAGING WAR..........& WINNING!!!!!
Over the past week Levi and I have been noticing something rather unusual............... earwigs LOVE our house!!!! It is absolutely the most disgusting thing ever!!!!
During the past week we have unfortunately come accustom to coming home and killing, squashing and smashing disgusting creepy earwigs ALL night, they were everywhere!!!! Before we go to bed I was making Levi do a "bug check" with me, we would shake out all the bedding to make sure no creepy crawly bugs were in our bed. FYI: I have not slept well for the past few nights for the fear that there would be creepy earwigs crawling all over me! The "infestation" got so bad that before I would go to the bathroom I would lift the lid and the seat and look all around to make sure no creepies were around me (honestly this is sad)!!! So last night Levi and I made a critical decision.................it was time to rage war on these creepy little bugs!!!!
We went to Home Depot and got fog bombs and bug killer spray that goes all around the house on the inside and the outside. This morning we got up early and sprayed the bug killer spray everywhere in our house and then right before we left we set off two bombs!!! Each bomb is supposed to work for 6000 cu square ft. our little home is 1000 square ft. maybe, but just to make sure we killed all the disgusting bugs we set off two................... I think that should do it!!!! HA HA HA HA I AM SOOOOOO WINNING THIS WAR EARWIGS!!!
This is one of the two bombs we set off. As soon as we set then off we had to leave the house and not come back for a few hours. I came back this afternoon to open the windows and turn on the fan to let the house air out a little. When I got home I saw the most beautiful sight..........DEAD earwigs!!!! YES we won!!! After I opened the windows and turned on the fan I left again so the house could air out for a while (the smell from the bombs was a little strong). Levi got home before me and my sweet sweet husband did all the dirty work. He cleaned up all the dead bugs and even moped the floor, he is sooooooooo wonderful!!! The bombs worked like magic it has been over 10 hours now and I am happy to report I have not seen even ONE earwig, makes me wonder why we didn't do this 7 days ago!!!! Oh well live and learn I guess!!!

Wow, I think I would die. Earwigs creep me out sooooo bad. Looks like your war tactics are working though. Yay.
We had the same problem in our old apartment...only with cockroaches! It was horrible! I am glad you guys decided to take action : ).
Yuck. We have hobo spiders. And ants, but....I could care less about them after I see a hostile hobo running across our living room. I'm glad that you won your war! It gives me hope.
