Baby Macy

I know everyone thinks I have fallen off the face of the earth...... well I haven't I have just been trying to adjust to MOTHERHOOD!!!!! It seriously is the best job in the world!!
We welcomed our little baby Macy Marie to this world on Tues. Nov. 17, 2009 at 7:19 pm. She weighed 8lbs. and 10 oz.!!!
Here is the story..... I was induced starting At 10:00pm on Mon. the 16, nothing really happened all night so the next morning around 10 my Dr. came and broke my water,which kicked my contractions into HIGH GEAR (I promptly asked for my epidural)!!! Before I got my epidural I was 4cm., after I got my epidural I was so comfortable I fall asleep for four hours, and when I woke up I was 8cm.!!!!! My nurse decided to try and let me push for a little while, after about an hour she told me to stop because she was pretty sure the baby was to big and that I was going to have to have a c-section! We waited for my Dr. to get to the hospital for about an hour and a half and when she got there she asked me if I wanted to try and push for a while, I said I would try. I only pushed for about and hour and then she was born, c-section averted!!!!!
Right before she was born the nurse took my temp. and said I had a temp. because I had a temp when Macy was born she also had a temp. so she spent most of the first night in the NICU, but they let us come and get her and take her back to our room at about 2am!!
We have been loving parenthood and loving our little angel who Levi has nicknamed "Little Kid" we love her so much and feel so blessed to have her in our family! We have only taken about a million pictures of our little cutie, here are some of them.
